Safe in Africa!

My team and I have made it to South Africa.  We’re all checked into our hotel and have eaten dinner.  Tomorrow morning we leave at 6:30 AM to catch our flight to Zambia.  This whole thing is so real, yet still surreal.  I don’t know when it’s going to sink it!

South Africa is (as an older South African gentleman told me on the plane) quite European so things aren’t too different here.  Well, except that it’s quite chilly outside, our hotel is surrounded by a big wall security gates, and, oh yeah, the guy directing traffic in the restaurant parking lot had a shotgun. Otherwise things are pretty similar.

Our room for the night in South Africa.

Where we ate dinner tonight (delicious Milo milkshake!)...also, this is post day camp and 15+ hour flight.

Please continue to pray for our team as we travel and go love on the people of Zambia.  I am so incredibly excited about this opportunity and can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store!

  1. Praying for you and your team. Open your mind to anything new and God will show you the way. He has the map.
I love you and look forward to your next post.
