Wiphan’s headmaster, Labstone is in the hospital and not doing well. He has been transported to a hospital 4 hours away in Lusaka (this is the closest working CT Scanner) and will be having brain surgery tonight. For more details, check out my friend Kristin’s blog; she is currently living in Zambia and working at Wiphan.
Please pray for Labstone. Pray for complete healing and ease of pain. Pray for the doctors and nurses. I
don’t think we know we don’t realize how blessed we are to have the medical care that we do. Pray for Labstone’s wife, Sarah, and their three children. Also pray for the rest of the Wiphan staff, Kristin, and the team of three from the States that is in Zambia right now. Labstone is a HUGE part of the Wiphan operation and is just an overall great man.
Here is a video of Wiphan kids singing a song (in Bemba then in English) that is a perfect reminder for right now: “There’s no one, there’s no one like Jesus.” He can heal, He is in control, He has a plan.
